Rutherford + Chekene provides a summer intern program for students interested in geotechnical engineering who are currently graduate students in a related master’s degree program. This intern program is well-suited for students who would like to be considered for career employment with R+C after their graduate studies are completed.

The Intern Experience 
Rutherford + Chekene provides one full-time, paid intern position for a current graduate student. The intern will gain experience in geotechnical investigation and construction observation. The intern will work closely under the guidance of senior engineers and interact with our in-house structural engineers. The paid intern program also includes mentoring, educational seminars, construction site visits, and company social events. The intern program lasts for 10 weeks between June and September; exact dates of the internship are flexible.
