SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (BUILDING SYSTEMS GROUP)

R+C is actively seeking a Senior Project Engineer with 7-10 years of experience who will join our Building Systems Group (BSG) to manage a wide range of tenant improvement projects. Our clients include high-profile tech companies, labs, hospitals, and universities, and our diverse portfolio includes challenging and engaging projects from building remodels to complex structural alterations.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with 7 to 10 years of professional engineering experience
  • Licensed California Civil Engineer (PE) is required, registration as a Structural Engineer (SE) is highly desired
  • Must have technical knowledge and experience to perform complex Tenant Improvement projects, able to manage and interact effectively with clients and project teams, able to lead and mentor junior structural designers
  • Design of supports and attachment for architectural features and components
  • Seismic anchorage and bracing of equipment and MEP distribution systems
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit structure
  • Prior project experience with OSHPD and DSA is desirable
