The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is the country’s first independent research facility focused on the testing and treatment of diseases associated with aging. Funded in part by the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the 60,000 sf, three-story addition contains wet laboratory space, offices, a library, meeting rooms, and a cafeteria. Rutherford + Chekene provided structural engineering for the facility.
