The new recreation and aquatic center will serve the growing needs of the San Jose State campus. The project will demolish the two existing residence halls and the existing aquatic center, upgrade existing utility lines, and build a new and larger integrated sports and fitness facility. The new facility will feature a gymnasium, weight and fitness center, exercise rooms, rock climbing wall, areas for sports clubs, and competition and recreation pools. R+C is the structural engineer for the design-build team.
