THE INTERN EXPERIENCE
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities include:
Participate in and/or lead: Development of project design criteria; development of energy efficient designs; development of analysis model; communication with the architect and other members of the project design team for coordination of design; reviewing cost estimates in the design phase of the project; construction administration activities such as responding to RFIs, review submittals and shop drawings, communicating with and directing contractors.
Technical Knowledge and Documentation Presentation:
Work from home permitted up to 3 days per week.
May supervise 0-2 structural designers.
Travel: 5 to 10% within Northern California
Requirements:
Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with concentration in structural engineering, or related field and five years of experience as a Design Engineer, Staff Engineer, Project Engineer, or related role. Must have 5 years of experience with:
Required License/Certification: P.E. License
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $131,418–$134,950, 40 hrs/week.
