The new Medical Center campus includes a six-story, 425,000 sf hospital with 264 acute care beds—all private rooms10 operating rooms, 24-hour emergency services with 40 treatment rooms and a newborn intensive care nursery. The project also included a new 273,000 sf four-story Hospital Support Building connected to the hospital and a new central utility plant. Project delivery used Building Information Modeling from schematic design. Rutherford + Chekene provided structural engineering services.
