R+C designed the 124,000 sf student housing building located at the south end of the university's campus housing village. The building houses 350 beds for freshmen and sophomores in double and single rooms, study rooms, a lounge, a multi-purpose room and a recreation room. The three  and four story building takes full advantage of views of the adjacent American River and its U-shape creates a protected plaza gathering area with a cafe.
