The UCSC Kresge College project crossed a major milestone - structural permits have been approved for this transformative project! The extensive multi-building renewal is set to modernize and expand student housing and other non-academic facilities at the college. The Design-Build project will feature seven replacement buildings constructed with prefabricated components and mass timber, as well as the addition of two brand-new buildings and the seismic upgrade of five existing structures.

We are very excited about the positive impact this project will have on the Kresge College community. Construction will be moving quickly and is expected to wrap up next year - stay tuned for updates!
