Rutherford + Chekene provided structural, geotechnical, and building systems engineering, including BIM modeling for construction phasing and clash detection, for the new Women’s and Children’s hospital tower. Built at the Sutter General campus as part of a program to consolidate two Sutter campuses, the 395,241 sf eight-story building is located over the existing underground Radiation Oncology Center.
