The new 50,000 sf science building at Contra Costa College houses biological sciences, chemistry, physics and engineering disciplines. The building includes labs and support spaces, meeting rooms and offices, study areas for students, and a planetarium.
Facility features a 2-story planetarium
Zero Net Energy (ZNE): The building was the first in the Contra Costa Community College District designed to be ZNE, relying heavily on all-electric systems, campus solar power, and advanced energy tracking.
