R+C has a long history of involvement as structural engineer on the Vallejo site. The major expansion a four-story, 50,000 sf medical office building and a 45,000 sf non-OSHPD-reviewed multipurpose building in addition to a new 188-bed hospital tower and renovation/expansion of the existing tower. More than 30,000 sf of new construction to the central utility plant was also completed. The hospital was designed to meet LEED Silver standards. The project received HCAI approval of the structural drawings within nine months of submittal. R+C provided structural engineering for the expansion.
