The Interdisciplinary Science Building at San Jose State University was designed as a modern, flexible space to foster collaboration between students and faculty across various science disciplines. Thi eight-story, 160,000 sf building houses chemistry and biology teaching and research laboratories, a high-performance computing center, and a data and science information laboratory. Located on a constrained site within the campus' science quad, the building features faculty offices and interdisciplinary spaces, promoting interaction across disciplines.
