San Jose State University | Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center

San Jose, CA

The new recreation and aquatic center serves the growing needs of the San Jose State campus. The project involved demolishing two existing residence halls and the existing aquatic center, upgrading existing utility lines, and building a new and larger integrated sports and fitness facility. The new facility features a 120,000 sf gymnasium, a 40,000 sf aquatics deck with 50-meter competition and recreation pools, a weight and fitness center, exercise rooms, a rock climbing wall, and areas for sports clubs.
